Sarah holds music degrees from the University of Otago and the University of Waikato, as well as having completed post-graduate study at the Prague Conservatorium in the Czech Republic. She is a recipient of the Dame Sister Mary Leo Scholarship and a former Emerging Artist with NBR New Zealand Opera.

Solo engagements include performances with Hamilton Civic Choir, Auckland Choral Society, Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra, Christchurch Symphony Orchestra, and the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra. Recently, Sarah sang the role of "Messenger" in Opera Otago's production of Monteverdi's "L'Orfeo", and appeared as mezzo soloist in Bach's "Christmas Oratorio" with Hamilton Civic Choir and Bach Musica, Auckland.

Later this year Sarah will appear in the role of Hansel in Humperdinck's "Hansel and Gretel" (Invercargill) and as mezzo soloist in Biber's "Missa Bruxellensis" (Auckland). Born in Te Awamutu, Sarah currently resides in Dunedin.
